Intro messages on accept
One message, sent only to people who accepted your request, on a slower clock than the requests themselves.
When somebody accepts your friend request, Connector can send one intro message. It never messages people who have not accepted.
Message Groups
Write your intro on the Message Groups tab. Keep more than one and they rotate, which stops every new connection receiving a word-for-word identical opener.
Messages are paced harder than requests
Outbound messages to people you just met are the most spam-sensitive thing an account does, so their limits are tighter than the request limits:
- 4–10 minutes apart, against 3–5 for requests
- 40 a day, against 50
There is also a deliberate wait after somebody accepts before their message goes out. A message three seconds after an accept is the most automated thing possible — nobody watches their friend list that closely.
What to write
The message that works is the one that sounds like the reason you actually added them. A line that could have been sent to anybody reads as a broadcast, because it is one.
Resist the urge to pitch in the intro. The request bought you a connection, not a meeting; the intro's job is to earn a reply. Once they reply, Legendary Messenger CRM is where that conversation gets a stage, a script and a follow-up date.
